THREE SISTERS/BATU TIGA Central Komodo | A triple threat of pinnacles, power, and pristine marine life.
8.639° S, 119.663° E
Hidden off the southeastern coast of Padar Island, Three Sisters — also known as Batu Tiga — is a legendary dive site named for its three dramatic submerged pinnacles. Rising from the ocean floor like sentinels, each “sister” is encrusted with life, offering a mix of stunning topography, challenging conditions, and rich biodiversity.
This is an advanced dive known for unpredictable currents and surge, but the rewards are enormous. Each pinnacle is teeming with coral, sponges, and an astonishing range of marine life. Swim-throughs, overhangs, and coral gardens provide shelter for macro critters and hunting grounds for pelagics alike. If you’re looking for one of Komodo’s most exciting and underrated sites — this is it.
Explore Three Sisters with Azul Komodo’s expert dive guides or as part of your liveaboard adventure on Blue Lotus. This site is included in select southern itineraries.
