KEY REGIONS OF KOMODO NATIONAL PARK
The central region of Komodo National Park is famous for its warm waters, stunning coral gardens, and a blend of both macro and pelagic marine life. Central Komodo’s dive sites are often characterized by moderate currents and are accessible to a wide range of diver experience levels.
The dive sites in Komodo National Park’s northern region are known for strong currents, vibrant coral reefs, and abundant marine life, especially large pelagics.
The southern region of Komodo National Park offers a different underwater experience compared to the north. Known for cooler waters, nutrient-rich currents, and less visibility, Komodo South has vibrant soft corals and a higher diversity of smaller marine species, along with unique encounters.
