Komodo National Park Dive Sites

POLICE CORNER South Komodo | Where Komodo’s currents collide — and marine life flourishes.

-8.5058, 119.6135

Overview

Tucked between Siaba Besar and Gili Lawa Laut, Police Corner is a dynamic dive site defined by its sloping reef, rich coral life, and converging currents. The name harks back to patrols once stationed in the area — but today, it’s marine traffic that dominates the scene: reef sharks, trevallies, and snappers in constant motion across a vibrant underwater terrain.

This site is best dived on a mild current to appreciate both its macro and wide-angle offerings. With its steep slope, coral ridges, and sandy pockets, Police Corner is a favorite among divers looking for a bit of everything — structure, life, and surprise.

Join our experienced guides aboard Blue Lotus or on a day trip with Azul Komodo. We time dives here precisely for ideal current windows to maximize both safety and sightings.
